Storage Tests

The M.2 performance is evaluated using a speedy Samsung 950 Pro 256GB drive in the respective slots. Both boards offer full-bandwidth capability.

SATA and USB 3.1 performance use the same drive: an SK hynix Canvas SC300 512GB, although in the latter case it is installed inside a StarTech caddy featuring the newer standard.

No surprises on the storage front, either.
