No major surprises here; we're using another SK hynix Canvas SC300 as the test drive in this instance.
The lack of USB 3.1 support only becomes telling if you need absolute performance. We put the same SK hynix drive into a StarTech USB 3.1 external enclosure and ran the CrystalDiskMark sequential tests again. Standard USB 3.0 loses about 100MB/s in the read scenario.
