Benchmarks: Power Draw and Battery Life

The use of high-power, desktop-grade components inevitably comes with another trade-off: battery life is terrible. Our standard test entails looping a high-definition video until the laptop succumbs to hibernation, and though the workload isn't particularly strenuous, the ROG Strix GL702ZC barely made it past the hour mark. This is a portable 17.3in machine, yet you won't want to stray too far from a power outlet.
