Power, Temperature and Noise

Performance purists will no doubt encourage budget buyers to lean toward the Radeon RX 470 and GeForce GTX 1060, but there is another factor to consider. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is notably more efficient and can slot in to a PCIe slot without requiring additional power.

An efficient, 75W GPU shouldn't be difficult to cool and EVGA's SC Gaming has no trouble keeping core temperature to 62ºC when gaming.

Fan speed remained below 40 per cent throughout testing, resulting in minimal noise output under full load. The GTX 1050 Ti SC Gaming is a quiet card, though the lack of a 0dB mode prevents it from being silent when idle.
