Overclocking

The 1,250/7,000MHz speeds ran up to 1,350/8,000MHz without touching the voltage, offering a solid increase on both fronts.

About a 10 per cent gain through overclocking alone. It's satisfying to see the Nitro card maintain the 1,350MHz boost clock at all times.

Depending upon game, the RX 460 needs to be overclocked well to match a GTX 950 equipped with a minor overclock.

Radeon RX 470 GPUs start at £165, or £35 more, and offer bags more performance. For example, we'd expect that GPU to score over 9,000 marks in 3DMark and average 70fps in both gaming titles at the same resolution and image quality.
