Introduced as the fifth major entry in the series, Fallout 4 takes place in post-apocalyptic Boston in the year 2287, 210 years after a Nuclear war. Not the most uplifting environment, but there are plenty of open environments to explore and the visuals, especially on PC, are at times dazzling.
The best GTX 1070s are going to be about 20 per cent slower than the best GTX 1080s, but there's considerably more value to be had. Thing is, if you want to play 4K at an average 60fps and with image quality settings dialled up, even the GTX 1080 OC struggles to maintain that frame rate.
