Power, Temperature and Noise

Here's the indirect benefit of moving to a 16nm process. The fastest card is not the most thirsty, evaluated as a complete system. What this graph also shows is that a 4.4GHz Core i7 and premier graphics solution doesn't need a super-large PSU, though the be quiet! 850W barely makes a whisper under full load.

The massive cooler copes with the thermals pretty well. Anything below 80°C is acceptable in our eyes.

The usual refrain for a massive, highly-clocked card is noise. A very quiet test system housed in a sound-dampened chassis means that no graphics card is loud. The Inno3D's fans can be heard at full load, sure, but they're certainly not bothersome.
