3DMark is the latest version of this hugely-popular synthetic benchmark. Making use of DX11 features such as tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading, it provides modern-day results and is available as a free download.

There's no extra boost speed to speak of, but at 1,050MHz core the Fury card puts up a solid showing in the synthetic test. We're using the latest WHQL Crimson 15.12 drivers which don't provide any clear performance advantage over older Radeon drivers. Besting a GTX 980 easily and out in front of a Fury Nano, the Nitro is off to a good start.
