Alien: Isolation

One of the most terrifying games of recent years, Alien: Isolation is a must for fans of the series and on PC hardware it looks as good as it plays. To gauge performance, we benchmark a 45-second stint of the game at FHD, QHD and 4K UHD resolutions.

Synthetic 3DMark results don't always tally-up with real-world games. Our first title, Alien: Isolation, isn't the most taxing and two GTX 960s scale extremely well and actually have the beating of GTX 980 at FHD and QHD resolutions. Though, it isn't quite as simple as that; the minimum FPS once again highlights the GTX 960's architectural limitations.
