There's no harm in pushing a capable card further. We managed to crank up the core speed to 1,328MHz (1,455MHz boost), and memory to 7,820MHz.
Frequency fiddling enables the G1 Gaming to leapfrog a standard GTX 980 card. The G1 variant of that GPU, however, remains ahead in the real-world Total War test.
