Racing games can offer dazzling visuals when delivered at buttery-smooth framerates. Grid Autosport is a prime example and is benchmarked with maximum quality settings and 2xMSAA.

We do like racing games, but we absolutely love Grid Autosport at 4K with maximum quality settings and 2xMSAA. It's a feast for the eyes and EVGA's card is a match for the reference GTX 980.

No frames take longer than 33ms to render, resulting in a smooth gameplay experience.

Core frequency continues to reap rewards in Grid Autosport. EVGA's card has the quickest slow frames on show, but once again it's worth putting things into perspective. The overclocked GTX 970 isn't a monumental leap in performance - in real-world terms it's comparable with the existing GTX 780 Ti. What's impressive is that it offers all that performance in a leaner, more efficient and, more importantly, cheaper overall package.
