Conclusion

Those in the market for an ultra-high-end card need ask themselves a single question: do they want, and are willing to pay for, a GTX 780 Ti that can be pushed further than most?...

Laying down some serious cash on a graphics card is not a decision to be taken lightly. The very best single-GPU in the business, GeForce GTX 780 Ti, is available from £500 in bone-stock form and £520 for partner-overclocked cards.

EVGA's four GTX 780 Tis are headlined by the £615 Classified Double Bios edition. Equipped with an extra-large PCB and heatsink and primed for overclocking, it's only clocked in marginally faster than the Superclocked ACX model.

But looking at shipping frequencies is missing the point somewhat. This is a card designed to appeal to those that enjoy pushing their components to the limit. The beefy cooler does a good job at keeping the 1,150MHz-boosting GPU in check, which is important when the card is further taxed by adding voltage past Nvidia's limits.

Those in the market for an ultra-high-end card need ask themselves a single question: do they want, and are willing to pay for, a GTX 780 Ti that can be pushed further than most? If the answer is yes, the EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Ti Classified will suit their purposes well.

The Good

Factory overclocked on core
Top-notch performance
Highest overclock to date
Three-year warranty

The Bad

Expensive, even by 780 Ti standards
Power hungry

Is it possible for you to start including cost equivalent sli/cf setups in the high end reviews? My gut feeling says that 2 £300 cards would be faster (subject to the usually driver based fun and games) but it would be interesting to see.
Drop down the price by 20% and you got a buyer !

You can get the Gigabyte card for much less, £526.54(scan.co.uk). You can get a nzxt set up or get a EK waterblock, pump, and 120mm or 240mm for the saving on the EVGA. Thus, getting better performance.
Classified is one of the few Nvidia cards equipped with a second BIOS
Really?
Isn't a dual BIOS switch a standard feature on AMD cards? I know mine has one and I understand it's positively ancient by comparison…
