Overclocking

We overclocked the Gigabyte card by increasing the core and memory speeds while running with stock voltage. The card jumped from the peak shipping 1,100/6,000MHz clocks to 1,180/6,880MHz, making it slightly slower than the Asus TOP on both counts.

What does this mean with respect to overclocked performance?

Surprisingly little in real-world games, as it goes, as the higher clocks don't offer a huge boost in performance.
