Comanche 4

Novalogic's pretty-looking Comanche 4 now. It's based on a real game that makes extensive use of shaders. The setting is a pre-scripted helicopter mission over some lifelike scenery.

Aviation simulations can often be limited by the CPU and memory systems at lower resolutions. The massive geometry requirement taxes even a 3.2GHz P4 and Springdale board.

Price-wise, the ABIT OTES FX 5900 is expected to retail at around the Ā£300 mark. That puts it above the Radeon 9700 Pro and at around the same level as the newer, more powerful 9800 Pro. So if we're attempting to compare like for like based on monetary criteria, those are the two cards we should focus on.

Last again, but not by a significant margin. The gap between the two pre-mentioned cards doesn't exceed 15%.
