Conclusion
MSI's Twin Frozr Gamer OC, priced at £220, produces an enviable balance of speed, quietness and cooling.
The introduction of the reference GeForce GTX 760 was met with a certain amount of scepticism here at HEXUS. We felt Nvidia was too ardently recycling last year's GeForce GTX 670/660 Ti technology.
But the attractive price point and quality of aftermarket cards, especially those equipped with sky-high frequencies, enables retail models to match the performance of Radeon HD 7970s and get pretty darn close to the vastly more expensive GeForce GTX 680.
MSI's Twin Frozr Gamer OC, available right now for £220, produces an enviable balance of speed, quietness and cooling. Though certainly not the fastest GTX 760 we've seen pass through the labs, we can recommend it for the gamer looking to upgrade a two- or three-year-old card.
The Good
