Crysis 3

Homepage: Crysis.com/us/crysis-3 | Publisher: Electronic Arts | Developer: Crytek

Crysis 3 is a beautiful-looking game that continues to tax high-end systems. We've FRAPS'd a 30-second section near the start of the game, with lashing rain, numerous reflections and full DX11 pomp on show.

Both cards produce an extra 10 per cent performance at 2,560x1,600 than with older drivers. Performance is satisfactory at 2,560x1,600 but barely playable on three-screen 5,760x1,080 - the GeForce's lead doesn't count for much as the game is feels very choppy at merely high-quality settings.

We're somewhat surprised at the Radeon's performance; the on-paper specifications suggest it should beat the GeForce card fairly comfortably, especially as AMD has worked closely with Crytek with respect to Radeon optimisations.
