Benchmarks - Call of Duty: Black Ops II

The billion-dollar franchise keeps on rolling with Black Ops 2. The best of the Call of Duty bunch, we test with the image quality turned all the way up.

Performance is solid at both resolutions and, for what it's worth, the extra 20 per cent performance over a GTX 660 OC is telling when panning quickly from side to side.

An examination of the per-second frame-rate indicates buttery-smooth performance at all times, though we'd expect that on a Ā£180 card playing what is a console port.

General performance mirrors that of the 1,920x1,080-resolution test. This tells us that framebuffer limitations are not a problem for these cards each equipped with 2GB of onboard memory. The Myst card, which consistently Power Boosts to 975MHz in the game, remains about 10 per faster than a bog-standard HD 7870.
