Power consumption, temps and noise

Low TDPs translate to frugal power-draw when evaluated as a complete system. System builders will be able to use 400W PSUs... with some capacity to spare, going by our results.

And the GeForce GTX 650 Ti produces the low under-load temperatures that are a hallmark of genuinely mid-range cards. The comparison Radeon HD 7770 performs near-identically from a power and GPU temp standpoint.

All of our tested cards can be deemed to be 'quiet'. You'll barely hear the GTX 650 Ti over the intake, CPU and exhaust fans on a regular system. We look forward to certain partners indulging in some no-noise, passive cooling. GeForce GTX 650 Ti scores well in these three metrics.
