Overclocking
Stoking the card's fire by increasing the Power Target from the default 100 per cent to a maximum 110 per cent - which is rather low, going by other GeForce GTX 600-series GPUs - we managed to increase the KFA²'s frequencies from 1,006/6,008MHz to 1,070/6,508MHz. There's little headroom on this particular sample's core, clearly, and we wait to see what other partners will do with respect to genuine out-of-the-box overclocking.
The HEXUS-overclocked GTX 660 manages to leapfrog the Ti variant. Users of the once-£400 GeForce GTX 580 can feel secure in the knowledge that their long-in-the-tooth card is a bit quicker...still.
