Benchmarks - Just Cause 2

Just Cause 2 is one of the older titles in our suite and uses DX10 visuals. It's no longer cutting edge, but it's still a lot of fun and can be used to cross-reference older reviews.

These high-end cards have no problem in punching through Just Cause 2 on three screens.

Per-second framerates are very good on all four cards, barely dropping below 40fps at any time.

And that notion is reinforced with the frametime evaluation. Over half the framerates are rendered in under 20ms, which is what we like to see in all games, but the 'lead' over a 2GB-equipped GTX 680 is only seven per cent. A look at the logs shows the game to use up to 889MB of the card's memory; you certainly don't need a 4GB card in this title.
