Temperature To emulate real-world usage scenarios, we record GPU core temperature both when idle and whilst playing Batman: AC
Noise A PCE-318 meter is used to record noise levels when idle and whilst playing Batman: AC

Notes

To get an idea of how things stand, we've re-tested the best single-GPU cards from both NVIDIA and AMD on some of the latest available drivers; GeForce 304.48 beta and Catalyst 12.7 beta. We've also re-benchmarked a pre-overclocked GeForce GTX 680, represented by a Gigabyte GTX 680 OC.

We're testing the Sapphire TOXIC 6GB card in both BIOS positions, that is, with the Lethal Boost turned off and on. Graphs are ordered by performance at 2,560x1,600, by the way.
