Benchmarks - Battlefield 3

Review: HEXUS.net/qa7yc | Where2buy: amazon.co.uk

Battlefield 3 is one of the most popular PC games of the last year and features breathtaking visuals and an absorbing multiplayer component.

GTX 680 is
1,920x1,080 2,560x1,600 5,760x1,080
28.1% 16.0% 11.1%

AMD's Radeon HD 7970 eats away at the GeForce as the resolution increases. The numbers tell us that it becomes increasingly difficult to differentiate the duo once hit by super-meaty resolutions.

Our benchmark takes place in an outdoor section and there's little framerate fluctuation throughout the test. There's the occasional downward blip on both cards, especially near the end of our FRAPS'd section, but it's pretty smooth elsewhere. We couldn't perceive the difference between the two cards' output for this game.
