Chronicles of Riddick Performance
Chronicles of Riddick is an OpenGL games title that's really fun to play and which apes the Doom3 engine in its method to rendering. Z-only prepass, stencil shadows and not too many shader programs see it have similar performance traits to id's technically great but shockingly pants to play action title.
The GeForce 7800 GTX shows off some driver mastery and a nice stencilling rate to best the ATI hardware across the board with IQ options off.
The NVIDIA product stays over 10% faster at all resolutions with the standard IQ options on, showing no quarter to ATI's new accelerator in the OpenGL gaming stakes.
