Power-draw, temperatures, and noise

Power draw

Getting on to the benchmarks where the Cape Verde GPUs will undoubtedly score well, the power-draw characteristics of the HD 7750 are excellent, being, easily, the lowest of our eight-GPU line-up. ZeroCore drops the long-idle to 28W in both cases.

HD 7770's numbers are also good, though with AMD now quoting typical board power over maximum, the in-game differences aren't as large as the table on the first page may suggest.

Temperatures

Temperatures, though, are middle of the pack. One reason for this is that a few of the retail cards have excellent coolers.

Noise

A fact reinforced by the noise readings. Radeon HD 7750's fan is whinier than the rest, by the way, and it should be a near-silent solution.
