Crysis 2 may not have lived up to the expectations set by its predecessor, but with the DX11 patch and high-res textures, it's a gorgeous-looking game.

Analysis

Crysis 2 just loves the HD 7970; there's a far greater jump in performance between generations. However, they're all equally 'beaten up' when moving from 1,920x1,080 to 5,760x1,080, barely keeping one-third of their 1080p performance. The numbers suggest this isn't a framebuffer problem.
