3DMark 11

3DMark 11 is the latest version of this hugely popular synthetic benchmark. Making use of DX11 features such as tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading, it provides modern-day results and is available as a free download.

The trio of manufacturers choose differing frequencies for their GTX 560 cards. MSI's 870MHz/4,080MHz clocks come in the slowest, Gigabyte takes the middle ground with a 900MHz/4,008MHz clocking, while the most-expensive GTX 560, the ASUS TOP, grabs top spot with a 925MHz/4,200MHz rating.

But the triumvirate are beaten by a stock-clocked Radeon HD 5870, costing some Ā£150 right now.
