Eyefinity testing - F1 2010, CoD: BO and Metro 2033

Metro 2033

Set in the shattered subway of a post-apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033 is a story of intensive underground survival where the fate of mankind rests in your hands. And if you happen to enjoy your on-screen visuals, it's one of the best-looking games we've seen in recent years.

Can you feel the pain? Metro 2033 serves as our GPU-bashing tour de force. The game is just about playable on one screen, though the image-quality settings need to be turned down to medium for the FleX card to have a chance on three screens.

F1 2010

F1 2010, developed by Codemasters, makes use of version 1.5 of the Ego Game Technology Engine and impresses with its DX11 visuals and dynamic weather system.

Ticking all the IQ boxes we can find, F1 2010 runs nicely in DX11 mode. Reducing the AA to 4x makes it significantly smoother in both E3 modes.

Call of Duty: Black Ops

Call of Duty: Black Ops set a new record as the highest-grossing entertainment release in history. The title is benchmarked with 8x AA and 16x AF, along with other high-quality settings. We FRAPS a 30-second section that's indicative of general gameplay.

This DX9 port is plain smooth in Eyefinity3 mode. A single HD 6950 2GB card is more than powerful enough if this is your cup of tea.
