The problem the EVGA card faces is that its £500 price tag doesn't play all that nicely with the competition. Entry-level GeForce GTX 1080s are about the same price and are 10 per cent faster, while the Radeon RX Vega 56 is still £50 or so cheaper, even with the recent price cuts reversed.
