Power consumption under load is a little high on our review sample, yet MSI's impressive cooler has no trouble taming the underlying GPU. Core temperature didn't exceed 69ºC and, better still, the fans are wonderfully quiet. They switch off when idle and when the going gets tough you hear only a smooth and gentle hum.
