Here's where the chunky ROG Strix cooler proves its worth. Look past the flashy LEDs and you have a heatsink-and-fan configuration that keeps temperatures to a relatively cool 70ºC under load. Better still, it does so while creating minimal noise. The card is silent when idle and though you can hear the fans when the GPU is put to work, it's never more than a smooth background hum.
