The latest instalment in the Gears of War series delivers heart-stopping action and the developers at The Coalition deserve genuine credit for proving that high-profile ports can be every bit as stunning as their console counterparts, if not more so.
Gears of War 4 continues the theme. Performance is excellent at 1080p, decent at 1440p, and the Radeon once again has the edge over the rival GTX 1060. Not bad going for a card costing £165, and though there's the option to spend an extra £35 for an 8GB model, we reckon a 4GB frame buffer makes sense for a mid-range solution.
