Notes

The original plan was to benchmark the 570J on a DFI i925X LANPARTY motherboard. However, the semi-unlocked CPU would boot up perfectly between 14x-18x multipliers but would then fail to do so at the default 19x. Updating the BIOS to the latest version, dated 23/09, failed to solve the problem. Testing it into a reference Intel 925XE motherboard highlighted no such problems. It appears to be a BIOS-related issue with the DFI board, unfortunately. Other than this, there were no further problems to report during testing and benchmarking. Benchmarks were carried out 3 times and the highest and lowest results were discarded.

Overclocking

I've refrained from including overclocking tests due to using a reference board for testing. Limited FSB manipulation and no voltage adjustment dictates that we'll be taking a look at overclocking potential at a later date, sadly. I'd wager that air-cooled overclocking on default volts would see no more than 4-4.1GHz with perfect stability. That assumption is based on Intel's decision to scrap a 4GHz model.
