We test gaming by stressing the IGP alone. Performance comes in just shy of the previous Haswell champ.
Our conclusion regarding the graphics performance of the HD 4600 remains the same; it's just about adequate for basic games but is found out when running anything more complicated. We'd recommend users, should they care to game on it, turn settings down to 720p. Proper gaming is reserved for a mainstream discrete graphics card.
