Three Intel CPUs use a 1066MHz CPU-to-system bus that offers decent memory bandwidth. It's no surprise that the '955 and '965 Extreme processors' performance is nearly identical here. AMD's is generally good, as well.



Latency. How AMD must love that word. Repeating what we've said before to ad nauseam, having an on-die memory controller does wonders for memory access latency, as you can see. The '965 puts in a good a showing as a discrete MCH allows.
