--- Mounting System and Fitment Time

Mounting System

Not surprisingly, like the Infinity, the Miné uses push-pins that pass through small plates on the base of the cooler.

With the Miné weighing so much less than the Infinity, there are fewer concerns over the pressure being put on the motherboard socket. And, being much smaller, too, we were expecting fitting to be a great deal easier.

[advert]So far so good then for the Miné . On paper, anyway.

Fitment Time

Somewhat to our surprise, though, the Miné wasn't massively faster to install. Fitting took 184 seconds (3 minutes and 4 seconds), shaving just 12 seconds off the time for the Infinity. Even so, the Miné took a very respectable seventh place.

What took more time than we'd expected was getting the orientation of the cooler right – and that needed a bit more planning that we'd imagined.
