--- Mounting System and Fitment Time

Mounting System

The design that all others are trying to beat, the push-pin four-point system is the most efficient when ease of use and performance are jointly taken into account.

The Intel stock cooler is still fitted to almost all PCs built by system vendors. Even some over-clocked, off-the-shelf solutions still feature Intel stock cooling, although far fewer than before.

Fitment Time

There was a certain air of inevitability about the Intel stock cooler coming out on top but the minimal amount of time involved - just 63 seconds (1 minute 3 seconds) – still does Intel massive credit.
