Review: Noctua NH-L12

Benchmarks: Core i7-3770K at 3.5GHz

Intel's Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge processor has a habit of getting toasty under load, and our ultra-intensive stress test on a stock-clocked chip tells us two things; Noctua's NH-L12 is a good step up from Intel's reference cooler (it lowers temperature by almost 15 per cent), but if you've got the space, it's understandably no match for many of the traditional tower coolers on the market.
