Performance

Most modern ATX cases will deliver sufficient airflow for a powerful CPU. Fractal Design's Define C has no issues cooling our overclocked Core i5-3570K processor, though performance isn't quite as impressive as the roomier Define S.

We see similar results in the graphics department. Our dual GTX 970 graphics cards do eventually hit 80ºC, suggesting that the Define S, with more room to breathe and larger 140mm fans, will remain the preferred choice for performance enthusiasts.

Noise levels are interesting, too. The Define C keeps nice and quiet when idle, but being unable to keep GPU temperature from reaching the 80ºC target ultimately results in greater fan noise when gaming.
