MSI launches AG270 27-inch AiO Gaming PC

MSI has launched a follow up to its 'successful' MSI AG2712 Gaming All-in-One PC; the new AG270 27-inch All-in-One gaming PC. The highlighted specifications of this new AiO include; a 4th Intel Core i7 quad-core processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 870/880M discrete graphics paired with up to 8GB of GDDR5 graphics memory. Rounding off the offering MSI has equipped a 27-inch display with three layers of gamer eye protection and a Yamaha sound system.

This new AiO, first seen at CeBIT, fits quite a stash of powerful components into its sleek frame complete with MSI Gaming branding and red & black livery. Buyers get a choice of Intel i7-4860HQ (2.4GHz – 3.6GHz) or Intel i7-4700HQ (2.4GHz – 3.4GHz) for the CPU. Turning to CPU options buyers can choose from the AG270 2PE - Nvidia GeForce GTX 880M 8GB GDDR5 or AG270 2PC - Nvidia GeForce GTX 870M 3GB GDDR5 equipped models. Also there are a number of storage options including "up to three mSATA SSD that can be configured to run in RAID 0 for read speeds of up to 1500MB/sec ", boasts MSI. The basic storage option is a simple 2TB 7200RPM HDD.

Looking at the screen that this AG270 AiO is equipped with MSI has put some thought into eye-care for gamers. To provide a better gaming environment MSI has implemented; an anti-glare matte display, anti-flicker technology and 'Less Blue Light' technology. All these should help keep your eyes in comfort during your gaming sessions. The equipped mobile GPUs should also help keep games running smoothly as the large 27-inch screen runs at a relatively low 1920 x 1080 resolution, given its size.

The MSI AG270 also boasts a Yamaha sound system which consists of two Yamaha 5W speakers plus a subwoofer and Yamaha amplifier. MSI claims this setup offers a wider range of sound output than a "general speaker" and will enhance both "explosions in action games or pure audio".

Pricing and availability for this new AiO is not yet known.
