To ensure its GPU users are 'Game Ready' for Battleborn, which became available today, Nvidia has released its GeForce 365.10 WHQL drivers. With the new drivers Nvidia is promising an optimised experience in Battleborn, with "the best possible framerates and frametimes," whatever the scale of FPS MOBA mayhem on screen.

Battleborn is a completely new IP from Gearbox which mixes FPS gaming with MOBA elements in an attempt to provide the best of both worlds. Players can go solo or play cooperatively online in the game's story mode, or join multiplayer battles against rival player teams online. In the game's story you will choose to play one of a "tremendous band of badass heroes" to protect the universe's last star from an evil menace. There are 25 playable heros with their own personalities, unique weapons and powers.

Battleborn has been beta tested on Steam previously and has achieved 'very positive' reviews with 91 per cent of over 150 user reviews giving it the thumbs up. If you are a Borderlands fan, and enjoy MOBAs, perhaps this game is just right for you.

Nvidia's GeForce Game Ready 365.10 WHQL drivers don't just provide optimisations for Battleborn. There are optimisations for a trio of new game betas that will release shortly. Nvidia has tweaked its driver to be ready for Forza Motorsport 6 Apex Beta (available from 5th May). This racing game will offer DirectX 12 support and resolutions up to 4K.

Overwatch Open Beta begins on 4th May at 4PM PST and is catered for in this 365.10 WHQL driver release. The Paragon Open Beta event starts at the weekend and this Unreal Engine 4-powered game promises great graphics and effects, all helped along by Nvidia's latest Game Ready optimisations.

Though it has been threatened previously, you still don't need to go through the GeForce Experience program to get the latest Game Ready drivers; just search at the usual Nvidia Driver Downloads page and you can find this release.

I wonder if this one will be stable…
Don't think I'll find out, recently realised I need to give them my email address/ make an account to receive the regular updates for my GPU but if I don't I'll only receive the summary ones in larger intervals. Why?
