Microsoft has just released and detailed the latest cumulative update for Windows 10. If you are on Windows 10 Version 1511 you should very soon receive update KB3140768. Those still on Windows 10 initial version, from July 2015, will receive KB3140745. Whichever flavour you are using, the updates are all centred around "quality improvements and security fixes", neither set of updates provides any new features this month.
Most Windows 10 users should be now using Version 1511. I just refreshed my desktop PC at the weekend, installing the initial version ISO from a backup, and it was updated a few hours later to version 1511. If I'd known my backup was that old I'd have just gone to download a new ISO, never mind. So what is improved and fixed in Windows 10 Version 1511 by applying KB3140768? Please note that the full raft of updates as detailed above would be a 327MB download for x86 users, those who have installed Windows 10 64-bit face a 576MB download.
PC users still working with Windows 10 initial version as their OS will receive cumulative update KB3140745 very shortly, if they haven't got it already. This update fixes and improves the OS experience quality as follows:

Windows 10 Mobile
In other related news Windows Mobile was also updated yesterday and it is nearing its final release status. VentureBeat reports that Windows 10 for mobiles will start to roll out to legacy Lumia handsets later this month. To begin with users will have to initiate the update on their Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones. Later it is planned that the latest mobile OS will be pushed to end users of compatible devices.
