Corsair tells us that mixing its Dominator GTX2 DDR3 memory modules with an EVGA Classified SR-2 motherboard, two Intel Xeon X5690 CPUs and four (heavily modified) EVGA GTX 580 graphics cards, equals record breaking 3DMark performance.

It was Vince "K|ngP|n" Lucido and Illya "TiN" Tsemenko who did just this - along with seven pots of LN2 cooling goodness - squeezing out some 3DMark Vantage and 3DMark 11 world records in the process.

First, with the Intel Xeon X5690 CPUs running at almost 5.5GHz, 3DMark Vantage churned out a score of P79364.

Next up, it was 3DMark 11. Here, the Intel Xeon X5690 CPUs were pushed to speeds in excess of 5.6GHz, with the GTX 580 cards running at almost 1.2GHz. The net result was another world record, with a score of P24347.
