be quiet! has expanded its Pure Power line of PSUs, with the L8 series.
The Pure Power L8 series consists of four 80PLUS Bronze models, ranging from 430W to 730W, claiming efficiency of up to 88 per cent. The company tells us that the L8 series utilises its 120mm SilentWings fan solution, and claims that this delivers a 10dB advantage in operating noise levels, compared to competing products.
The new line-up is also said to deliver enhanced connectivity and cable management, together with a host of safety features - including over-voltage protection (OVP), over-power protection (OPP), and over-temperature protection (OTP).
Pricing (in Euros) is expected to come in at 69.90, 89.90, 99.90 and 109.90 including VAT, for the 430W, 530W, 630W and 730W models, respectively. To top things off, the company has also announced the introduction of two new models, in 630W and 730W options, for its recent L7 series.
