Raptor K40 Gaming Keyboard with 16.8 million colour RGB backlighting
Yesterday we saw Corsair release a high end gaming keyboard called the MX RGB Project which used Cherry MX keyswitches. Here we have a similar offering - on a budget - thanks to the more mainstream membrane type keyboard mechanism used.
The Raptor K40 offers extremely customisable colour backlighting options which can be tailored for your favourite games, tactics and playing styles. Corsair says this keyboard offers "onboard macro storage, 100% anti-ghosting with full-key rollover on USB, and 16.8 million colour customizable backlighting," in addition to a comfortable feel.
lights on!
A total of 18 programmable functions can be set and stored in the keyboard memory thanks to six dedicated programmable gaming keys that are switchable through three banks. Corsair's Raptor K40 also makes your everyday leisurely computer use more convenient thanks to its multimedia keys.
Available starting this month the Raptor K40 will be priced around the $80 mark and supported by a two year warranty.
Raptor M45 Gaming Mouse
Corsair describes the M45 as "a lighter, more agile variant" of the award winning M65 and M60 mice. Headline features of this gaming rodent include a "gaming-tuned Pixart PMW3310 5000 DPI optical sensor," a fast response time, large PTFE glide pads, a high-mass scroll wheel all housed in comfortable right-handed design with a textured, soft-touch surface.
The Raptor M45 also features an adjustable weight system and sports seven programmable buttons. Macros can be assigned to these buttons if you wish. Also the M45 has a dedicated instant DPI switch to enable gamers to move fast and aim accurately.
Corsair's latest gaming mouse will be available this month from around $60 with a two year warranty.
Corsair Flash Voyager GO USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive
A new series of flash drives in capacities including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB has been launched by Corsair today. These drives are said to be "incredibly lightweight" and support both microUSB and regular sized USB ports.
With both sizes of port on the same thumb drive it is extremely easy to use the Corsair Flash Voyager GO USB 3.0 OTG Flash Drive to copy things from your computer to your OTG compatible Android phone or tablet. Alternatively you can simply use the drive as storage to hold media you wish to view/play on your Android gadget without eating into the previous built-in memory of the device.
Corsair informs us that the new flash drive supports transfer speeds of up to 135MB/s on PCs, Mac and Linux boxes – no additional driver required. Every drive includes both a yellow and a black USB cap.
Corsair Flash Voyager GO USB 3.0 OTG flash drives will be available from this month with suggested retail prices of $20, $40 and $50 for the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities respectively. The drives carry a standard five year warranty.
