We've summed up other motherboard maker's AMD Ryzen AM4 efforts, so it's only fair to have a look over what MSI is offering, even though it hasn't sent HEXUS a press release (yet). MSI has a landing page for AM4 motherboards but it's heavy on promotional graphics, and rather thin on details. However, if you navigate to the MSI motherboards product pages and filter the results by Socket AMD AM4 you will find five new motherboards.

Above you can see that two of the motherboards use the X370 chipset, and these are of course the higher end offerings with RGB Mystic Light, Audio Boost 4, Gaming LAN, Turbo U.2/M.2, M.2 Shield, and VR Boost, and more. These are pricy motherboards, with the Titanium retailing for about $300 and the Carbon about $180, says the TechReport.

Moving down to the more mainstream B350 chipset products, MSI has kicked off its range with a trio of such motherboards, two of which are Micro ATX form factor (with the 'M' suffix'). The full ATX sized Tomahawk sports two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots with steel reinforcement. Similar to its smaller brethren the Tomahawk has four SATA 6Gbps connectors, a single NVMe M.2 slot, and a single a USB Type-C port on the back panel. Of the remaining Micro ATX boards the Mortar offers a few more ports and expansion options. Both have single colour (red) LED illumination.

For your convenience I have assembled a zoomable comparison table of the five MSI AM4 motherboards, above.

MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X

MSI is teasing its GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X graphics card on Facebook. The PCs and components maker hasn't listed any tech specs alongside the teaser image. It is likely to be competitive with other custom cooler designed cards such as the Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, which was partially revealed yesterday.
