Lenovo's bolstering its netbook and nettop offerings with the new IdeaPad S10-3s and all-in-one C200.

The S10-3s is a thinner, lighter version of the incumbent S10-3 and features the same 10.1in screen in a sleeker form factor that's just 16mm at its thinnest point, rising to 23.9mm at the rear.

Based around Intel's Atom CPU with integrated graphics, the S10-3s can be outfitted with a 1,280x720 screen; up-to 320GB HDD or 32GB SSD; optional 3G connectivity; 2GB of system memory, and Windows 7 Home Starter.

Weighing in at just over 1kg with the standard battery, we should see the netbook available at the backend of this month with a starting price of £280.

ION 2

We saw NVIDIA's new ION technology demonstrated at an event held in February. Lenovo has now rolled that into the all-in-one C200 system.

The C200 will ship with a single-touch, 18.5in screen with a native resolution of 1,366x768. Powered by a dual-core Intel Atom chip and ION 2 - well, GeForce G210 - complete with Optimus technology, the base model will be equipped with 2GB of memory, 160GB hard drive and a DVD ReWriter. US customers should be able to pick one up for $499 next month.
