Samsung has introduced a successor to last year's N310 netbook in the form of the Samsung Go N315.
The new arrival, pictured right, features the same rubberised chassis as the N310 - albeit now in a "Midnight Blue" finish - but sports a new processor within, namely Intel's second-generation 1.66GHz Atom N450.
That brings with it Intel GMA 3150 graphics, and Samsung rounds off the specification with 1GB of DDR2 memory, a 250GB hard-disk drive, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and a pair of 3W stereo speakers.
Although offering the same 1,024x600 resolution as the older N310, Samsung's Go N315 swaps out the previous glossy display for a new matte-finish alternative.
Connectivity options include Ethernet, Wireless N, three USB ports, a multi-card reader and VGA out, and Samsung equips the system with Microsoft's Windows 7 Starter operating system.
Weighing in at 1.2kg, the Go N315 features a four-cell battery that Samsung reckons is good for 4.5 hours of usage from a single charge.
There's no mention of UK availability as yet, but the system is now available in the US priced at $430.
