EVGA has launched a pair of new FTW HYBRID graphics cards. The EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 and 1070 FTW HYBRID cards use a closed loop cooling solution to deliver "water cooled perfection," says the firm. As you would expect from the name, the new graphics cards use EVGA's FTW performance components, as well as RGB lighting.
The cooling implementation is the star of this show, so let's look at it in further detail. As mentioned above, the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 and 1070 FTW HYBRID cards use a closed loop cooler that is self-contained, requiring zero maintenance. The cooler includes both a copper base GPU block and a dedicated memory plate which makes direct contact with the memory chips for efficient heat dissipation. A 120mm radiator connects to the graphics card cooling block via sleeved tubing and an "intelligent wiring system". Attached to the radiator is a 10cm axial fan (delivering lower noise levels) which is user changeable. This cooling implementation is capable of "cutting your GPU load temperatures in half," claims EVGA.

FTW features such as a 10 Phase Power System and a Dual BIOS are present for those who like to overclock their graphics cards to go "for the win". The icing on the cake is RGB LED lighting showing though four areas of the card and configurable via the EVGA Precision XOC tuning software.
EVGA didn't announce pricing and availability in its email to HEXUS. A quick check on the product pages reveals that this is a 'notify me' product, which we assume will be available shortly.
