What apparently is being lined-up as the trump mobile Llano offering for 2011, was fleshed out last week.

The chart above claims to now fill in more than a few gaps in the Sabine ecosystem, and what the specifications for the rest of the mobile Llano family should look like.

From what we can ascertain, it looks like the top-to-bottom mobile range will fit neatly within a 35W to 45W TDP envelope, with 400 stream processors on the graphics end representing the A-series pinnacle, and 240 (160 with E2-series) representing the baseline offering.

GPU speeds will run between 400MHz, and 440MHz, depending on SKU, and base clock speeds will range from 1.4GHz, through to 1.9GHz. AMD's Turbo CORE 2.0 technology will also be on hand to ramp up speeds to between 2.3GHz and 2.6GHz, depending on model.

this chart is greatly at odds with previous ones which make no mention of 240 shader dual-cores, as odd as the rumours that pegged the top-end versions with 480 shaders.

two questions that need clarification soon:
1. Is the dual-core a separate SKU, or is it merely a cut-down quad? I presume the former as the GPU portions have different name; beavercreek and winterpark.
2. Does the top version in fact have 6x 80 shader clusters with all launch products having a max of five enabled? Likewise the dual; does it have 3x 80 shader clusters.
It looks both the dual core and quad core mobile Llano processors appear to be the same size:

ah cheers.

i just lost interest in the dual-core sku, as i hate disabled products.

the question now is; how small a chassis can one fit the 35W quad/400-shader SKU in?

That is an excellent question.
