Computer chassis specialist In Win has just launched the 509 Full Tower PC chassis as part of its gaming range. The chasiss features an edge to edge left side tempered glass panel, SECC steel construction, and an interesting hexagonal / honeycomb mesh vented design to the right side panel. In Win is making the 509 available in both standard and ROG Certified livery.

As indicated above, the honeycomb design touch is both visually appealing and functional for air flow purposes. Underside and back air vents/perforations are also present. There are plenty of active cooling possibilities in the 509 such as; four areas to mount up to 360mm radiator (front, sides and middle), a triple fan radiator can even be placed in the front, and there’s still space remaining for a pump/reservoir combination next to it, or if you don't want liquid cooling the multifunction brackets can support 120mm fans or 2.5-inch SSDs. All intake fans include dust filters.

Inside the 509 is very roomy with space for up to E-ATX motherboards (but is ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX compatible), larger graphics cards up to 370mm long, and eight slots at the back. Helpfully, In Win has graphics card support brackets to prevent GPU-droop / PCI-E slot distortion.

Another important maximum compatibility figure is that the 509 can fit a CPU cooler up to 188mm tall. For storage there's an EZ-Swap HDD caddy for up to three 3.5-inch HDDs. The front can accommodate a single 5.25-inch ODD drive or similar. Remember, the 120mm fan mount points can be used to mount up to 4x 2.5-inch SSDs where fans aren't required.

The In Win 509 offers 4 x USB 3.0 and HD Audio ports on its front, just below the 5.25-inch bay and power button area. This is a sizeable chassis measuring 527mm x 235mm x 578mm and weighing in at 14Kg. Alongside the standard Black/Gray In Wn style 509 there will be a black/red ROG version. The front panel logo is illuminated via RGB LED lighting (4-pin connector). In Win hasn't provided pricing or availability details as yet.

In Win D-Frame 2.0

HEXUS saw the D-Frame 2.0 back at Computex and In Win launched it worldwide, just a few days ago. The signature open frame now offers twin tone construction and more, in its 30th Anniversary Signature design. Check out the official product pages and the overview video below for more information.

Call this a gaming case In Win? Where's the plastic? Strange angles?

The aesthetic is tame, neat and dear I say classy. It looks, good.

*watches video*

… seizure inducing lighting effects

Ok, never mind… It's a gaming case.
Looks really nice! But those £1000+ case from inwin is ridiculous.

Need more cases with the window panel on the right
I see both versions are available on scan for £149.99:

Both the ROG and standard versions are the same price? Is there nothing different between them apart from the colour scheme?
as the owner of a d-frame, i must say i don`t like how hidebound they have made the new one- with the fan-mounts and hdd cages solid where they are it is a lot less adaptable than the original, where you had a great deal of latitude as to where to put things- or not put them if that was your bag.

i do like the 509 tho`.
